Dahabiya Egypt Tours representative will pick you up from your hotel in Cairo and transfer you in an air-conditioned vehicle to Cairo Airport for your flight to Luxor. Upon arrival, you will be accompanied by your private Egyptologist guide to explore the famous Karnak Temple, the largest religious complex ever built. Its ancient name, Ipet-isut, means “the most sacred of places,” and its impressive Hypostyle Hall features a forest of massive pillars.

Enjoy lunch at a quality local restaurant, then continue your tour with a visit to the majestic Luxor Temple, built by Amenhotep III and Ramses II and dedicated to the god Amun. You will also have some free time for shopping in Luxor.

After the tour, you will be transferred to your hotel for check-in, with free time at leisure and overnight stay in Luxor.

After breakfast at your hotel in Luxor, you may start your day with an optional sunrise hot air balloon ride over the city, offering breathtaking views of the Nile and ancient temples.

Then proceed to explore the West Bank of the Nile, beginning with the colossal Colossi of Memnon, the iconic statues of Amenhotep III. Continue to the Valley of the Kings, where you will visit three royal tombs of New Kingdom pharaohs, richly decorated with scenes of the afterlife.

Next, visit the magnificent Temple of Hatshepsut at Deir El Bahari, a terraced temple dedicated to Egypt’s most powerful female pharaoh, set against dramatic limestone cliffs.

After the tour, enjoy an optional felucca ride on the Nile for a relaxing and authentic sailing experience. You will then be transferred to Luxor Airport for your flight back to Cairo, where you will be met and assisted before returning to your hotel.
